The CBSE National Yoga Championship will be hosted by Acharyakulam from November 18 to 21. Acharyakulam is an educational institute run by yoga guru Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.
About 250 teams in categories of boys and girls from around 150 schools across the country will participate in the competition. Winners will get individual and team awards on the basis of their performance.
The championship will be inaugurated by Ranveer Singh, zonal officer of the CBSE (Dehradun zone) in the presence of Acharya Pradhuman. A cultural programme will be staged on November 19 in the presence of Ramdev, with CBSE chairman Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi as chief guest.
