Six men were arrested Friday on the east side, along with drugs, handguns and cash, Indianapolis police said.
Indiana State Police SWAT members and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police narcotics detectives executed a search warrant in a drug-trafficking investigation at about 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Brookside Avenue, according to an IMPD news release.
During the search, detectives seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, three handguns, five vehicles and $8,640 in cash, IMPD said.
The six men that were inside the house at the time of the raid were arrested: Billy Boss, 58; Eric Middlebrook, 27; Terrell Scott, 29; Shane Scruggs, 26; Dominic Scruggs, 27; and Robert Williams, 27.
Police said Williams was the target of the investigation. He faces preliminary charges of dealing heroin, dealing cocaine, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and maintaining a common nuisance.
IMPD also said two of the men who were arrested are suspects in a recent homicide.
