BYO bowl provider Little Beet is firming up its presence in the D.C. metro area by opening a second location Monday, September 25 — installing an outpost in neighboring Northern Virginia that’s got a little something extra: breakfast service.
The new shop (1800 N. Lynn Street, Arlington, Va.) joins a crowded quick-service corridor already serviced by established salad slingers Sweetgreen, Cosi, Chop’t, Potbelly, McDonald’s, and Chipotle. New York-based Little Beet first landed in Dupont Circle a few years back; A sibling establishment, Melt Shop, shuttered 15 months after it arrived in D.C.
In addition to the BYO rice-, grain- and salad bowls at the heart of Little Beet’s vegetarian-friendly menu, the Rosslyn stand boasts breakfast offerings including: assorted yogurt parfaits (think: mango, dragon fruit, or raspberry), egg-laced bowls, and breakfast sandwiches. Oh yeah, and there’s avocado toast featuring seven-grain bread, grilled avocado, white bean spread, zesty garlic sauce, and toasted almonds.
The Little Beet in Rosslyn is scheduled to operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from noon to 8 p.m. Sundays.
