1. Irregular Periods

Often variations in the menstrual cycle are the first sign of PCOS, so never ignore this one!
2. Pimples
Getting acne as a teenager is not that scary. But if you still notice such persistent pimples, then PCOS might be the cause. Acne is again of the most typical sign of PCOS, so look out for adult acne. For better clarity, discuss this with your dermatologist or the gynaecologist.
3. Unexplained weigh gain
Weight gain is usually related to eating more and exercising less. But, if you feel that your lifestyle hasn’t changed a bit, then PCOS might be the reason behind your weight gain. People with this hormonal disorder can gain weight quickly and especially around the waistline. This is because of the insulin and leptin resistance, the two hormones that make your body store fat quicker.
