1. Aries (March 21- April 19)
Hot Yoga
Hot yoga classes set the room temperature between 85 degrees and 105 degrees. The high heat helps to sweat out toxins, add intensity, build strength and gain flexibility in your yoga practice.
Aries the Ram is a fire sign known for its energetic and bold personality. Aries loves a challenge, and has a will of steel. They will love the intensity of hot yoga and will feel accomplished after sweating buckets on their mat.

2. Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga provides the practitioner with a set of yoga poses to help align the physical body and energetic channels along the spine. Hatha yoga is a great yoga style to encourage balance and unity within the mind and body.
Taurus is an earth sign that is characterized by the Bull who can be slow to start, but once moving likes to put their head down and work hard. Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga focuses on the energy along the spine and opening the energetic channels of the chakras. Kundalini yogis practice to reach a different state of consciousness in the mind, body and spirit.
Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication. Represented by Twins, these mercurial folks are adventurous, original and have a naturally fast and wild energy. Kundalini yoga, with its emphasis on chanting and dance-like movements is a perfect way for Gemini to embrace this energy and channel it into spiritual realization.

4. Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga focuses on longer-held stretches with the intention of releasing emotions held within the deep connective tissues of the body. It is a much slower practice and traditionally holds each pose from 30 seconds to several minutes.
The little Crab that is Cancer is ruled by the Moon, the celestial body of emotions. They are drawn to safe spaces that are as nurturing as they are. Yin Yoga provides the perfect space for Cancers to feel safe and supported.

Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a more intense and fitness-based style of vinyasa offering the yoga practitioner a faster, hotter and more vigorous practice. The sequences are faster, challenging and encourage breath connection.
The Leo has a ton of energy and loves to play. Power Yoga provides a perfect outlet for the Lion’s need for speed and plenty of opportunity to try new and challenging poses. 6. Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar yoga was founded by B.K.S. Iyengar and focuses on anatomy and alignment in each asana. Iyengar created many yoga props to incorporate with each asana to help the body find a therapeutic release in each yoga pose.
Virgo is an earth sign that thrives on organization and order. They are natural perfectionists and enjoy precision. Iyengar yoga is an absolute delight for the detail-oriented Virgo.

7. Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Vinyasa Yoga
A vinyasa yoga class is primarily about connecting breath to movement through a sequence of yoga poses. Most vinyasa classes will incorporate a specific flow sequencing Downward Facing Dog, High Plank, Low Plank, Upward Facing Dog and then return to Downward Facing Dog throughout the yoga class.

Jivamukti Yoga classes are centered around chanting, pranayama, meditation and vigorous vinyasa. They also focus on spirituality, bhakti and nonviolence. Many Jivamukti yogis are known to be activists for veganism and environmentalism.
