In a video shared to YouTube, Grant can be seen sitting in the hairdressers chair.

He has lost most of his hair on top, with some left at the sides.

The hairdresser uses a lace hair insert which she glues to the top of his head to give him full, luxuriant locks.

The video shows her styling the long hair into a modern slicked back style.

Tap water can impact how effective – or ineffective – your haircare regime actually is.

Recently, experts warned water directly from the tap may have unknown health hazards.

Reportedly, this source of H20 contains synthetic chemicals – including chlorine and fluoride – that would be classed as ‘micro pollutants’.

After putting the lace insert on the client’s head, the hairdresser styled it

Trichologist Dr Bessam Farjo, who has conducted intensive research on the subject of scalp and hair health, says this cocktail of chemicals can wreak havoc on our locks.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Dr Farjo said: “There’s certainly evidence that shows environmental pollutants, including toxins such as free radicals found in hard tap water, will make susceptible hairs fall out more quickly.”

“Over time this could effect the overall appearance of the hair.”

But not all water is damaging, according to senior stylist at John Frieda, Luca Collina.
