LAGS have been filmed trying to dump a fellow prisoner in a DUSTBIN after he goes crazy from smoking the zombie drug Spice.
Footage shows one inmate shouting “is he mad, bruv?” as a wild-eyed drug user throws punches and headbutts a wall in a prison laundry room.
The video is the latest shocking film to surface showing the troubling extent of synthetic marijuana use in Britain’s jails.
The group of prisoners appear to retreat to the jail laundry to inhale deadly fumes from two plastic bottles.
But within minutes one appears comatose while the other is so high on the drug he scratches at the floor and headbutts the walls.
The clip – uploaded three weeks ago by YouTube user bike life – appears to have been filmed in a wash room as washing machines can be seen spinning in the background.
As the drug takes hold, one inmate slouches against a washing machine before falling onto his chest.
Another wild-eyed drug user smashes head-first onto the floor, spilling washing powder everywhere.
The film was uploaded on March 20 and is titled ‘Prisoners smoke spice’ but it is unclear where it was filmed. At one point the person filming appears worried about being caught and the screen goes black. Another says “Is he mad, bruv?”
As one of the men begins punching out in terror, another pins him to the ground and tries to put a dustbin over his head to stop him attacking people.
He then loses his temper and kicks him hard in the stomach as he lies convulsing.
Spice is putting severe pressure on the prison system, with hundreds of inmates taking the drug leading to assaults and ambulance call-outs.
Prison officers have also been hospitalised after accidentally inhaling others’ fumes.
Thirteen were recently struck down in one week at Category B Garth Prison in Leyland, Lancs.
There were 58 Spice-linked jail deaths in the 30-month period to January last year, according to figures from the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
All forms of the compound were banned in 2016 with the passing of the Psychoactive Substances Act.
