India happens to be the largest exporters of fennel seeds also, which is ingeniously known as saunf. Used in everything from tea to Pulao, fennel seeds are an indispensable part of any Indian kitchen.

Fennel seeds are added to the food for the kind of health benefits that they offer for the human body. Rich in a variety of minerals like potassium, calcium, iron and others, fennel seeds have benefits to the body from head to toe.


If you suffer from any of these problems – dandruff, hair breakage, hair fall or dry scalp, including fennel seeds in your diet may be a good idea. Fennel seeds have anti-microbial properties that keep any germs and dirt from gowning in your scalp and help in treating such problems.
